Los Angeles-based composer Akira Rabelais (1966) builds a bridge between classical romanticism and digital composition. Elongated Pentagonal Pyramid (Ritornell, 1999) was a cycle of dreamy pieces. Eisoptrophobia (Ritornell, 2001) "remixed" digital compositions by Erik Satie and Bela Bartok. Benediction Draw (Orthlorng Musork, 2003) generated ambient music for processed guitar sounds.

Spellewauerynsherde (Samadhisound, 2004) and EN/OF 031 (Bottrop-Boy, 2005) manipulated found samples to produce eerie, almost gothic, atmospheres.

Spellewauerynsherde (Samadhisound, 2004) e EN/OF 031 (Bottrop-Boy, 2005) manipolava suoni trovati per produrre atmosfere inquietanti, quasi gotiche.
