En Manaivi/ My Wife (1942), an Indian variation of Moliere's "Self-deceived Husband", again produced by Avichi Meiyappa Chettiar (AVM), and Haridas (1944), the last film featuring
Mayavaram Krishnasamy Thiyagaraja Bhagavathar before his famous arrest.
Tamil remained the language of his subsequent films Valmiki (1946), Krishna Vijayam (1950), Azhagi (1953), Koteeswaran/ Millionaire (1955) and Mahadevi (1957).
