L'EP Number One (100% Breakfast, 1991) e i singoli Didn't Understand/ Sarah Sitting/ Chris R (Slumberland, 1992) e Park The Car By The Side Of The Road/ Upstairs (Pop Narcotic, 1992) compognono il nocciolo di What To Do About Them (Taang, 1992), un album da epigoni diligenti, ma privo di personalita`.

Damon Tutunjian'artistic divorce from Seana Carmody (who went on to form Syrup USA) led to a dramatic reshuffling of the line-up and Christina Files was hired as the new primadonna. The title-track of the EP Sneaky Flutes (Taang, 1996), later renamed San Cristobal De Las Casas, signals a mature take on song experimentation that relies on cacophonous arrangements as much as on catchy tunes. That is the secret of They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days In The Glittering World Of The Salons (Taang, 1997), an album that blends the most industrial dissonances with goofy hooks and riffs worthy of Stereolab. French Radio and Sterling Moss are intoxicating layers of sounds. Blonder Tongue Audio Baton's experiment has reached a new dimension.

Strictly East Coast Sneaky FLute Music (Taang, 1998) is a drum'n'bass remix of Salon.
