Scheer is a band from Nothern Ireland that was formed in 1992
with by guitarists Paddy Leyden and Neal Calderwood and vocalist
Audrey Gallagher.
The single Wish You Were Dead (SON, 1993) and the
EPs Psychobabble (SON, 1994) and Schism (4AD, 1996)
established their reputation as old-school hard-rockers.
The album Infliction (4AD, 1996) contains the singles
Wish You Were Dead (SON, 1993),
Demon (4AD, 1996) and Shea (4AD, 1996), besides two
pop ballads (Goodbye and Screaming) which could easily
catapult them into the charts.
