Dirk Homuth and New York-based lyricist Charlie Mason.
They debuted with
Loving Counterclockwise (self released, 2006).
The Plural of Yes (Words On Music, 2009) was a more professional affair.
The songs belong to the "bedroom-pop" genre: gentle melodies
arranged in a simple but elegant manner
(Everyone Deserves to Love, Love Condensed)
occasionally straying towards the more facile stereotypes of
Brit-pop and Merseybeat (Leaving is Easy).
Best is the (finally) sprightly raga-vaudeville The World Is Full of Supermen.
