Holy Fuck, an instrumental Toronto-based quartet led by keyboardists Brian Borcherdt and Graham Walsh, debuted with the eight-song mini-album Holy Fuck (2005), mixing techno, jazz and progressive-rock.

LP (Young Turks, 2007) was an orgy of percussion and keyboards, mostly aimed at penning upbeat albeit surreal rave-ups. Super Inuit borrowed Neu's motorik's propulsion (Matt Schulz on drums), an organ crescendo a` la Who's We Won't Get Fooled Again and the wild atmosphere of Sixties garage-rock. Milk Shake is a funk panzer of syncopated drums (Matt Schulz), chaotic vocals and disorienting keyboards. Frenchy's is a slow techno pow-wow dance with alien overtones. The cartoonish Lovely Allen (a distant relative of the Hampster Dance) enhances the collective percussive chaos with carillon-like keyboards. Another childish number, Safari, seems inspired by videogame sounds and speed. The motorik rhythm returns for the aptly-named The Pulse, whose guitar vibrations makes it sound like post-modernist surf music (the Surfaris' Wipe Out). Royal Gregory apes the jovial funk music of the 1970s except to detonate it with sudden drumming crescendos. Few bands have used propulsion as their raison d'etre like Holy Fuck did. The main drummer was Loel Campbell except on three pieces.

Gli Holy Fuck, un quartetto strumentale di base a Toronto guidato dai tastieristi Brian Borcherdt e Graham Walsh, debuttano col mini-album di otto canzoni Holy Fuck (2005), che mischia techno, jazz e progressive-rock.

LP (Young Turks, 2007) è un’orgia di tastiere e percussioni, in prevalenza improntato a comporre un allegro benché surreale rave-up. Super Inuit prende in prestito il "motorik beat" dei Neu (Matt Schulz alla batteria), un crescendo di organo à la We Won't Get Fooled Again degli Who e l’atmosfera selvaggia del garage-rock degli anni Sessanta. Milk Shake è una corazzata funk di percussioni sincopate, vocalizzi caotici e tastiere disorientanti. Frenchy's è una lenta danza pow-wow tecnologica dai sovratoni alieni. La musica cartoonesca di Lovely Allen (parente lontana della Hampster Dance) accresce il caos percussivo collettivo con tastiere che somigliano a tanti carillon. Un altro numero infantile, Safari, sembra ispirato al suono e alla velocità di un videogioco. Il ritmo "motorik" ritorna in (e il titolo la dice tutta) The Pulse, le cui vibrazioni chitarristiche la fanno suonare come surf music post-moderna (la Wipe Out dei Surfaris). Royal Gregory scimmiotta la gioviale funk music dei Settanta se non esplodesse poi in un sbalorditivo crescendo percussivo.

Poche band hanno usato la propulsione come raison d’etre al pari degli Holy Fuck. Il percussionista principale è Loel Campbell, eccetto su tre tracce.

Having removed the noise from the surface of their dances, Latin (Young Turk, 2010) tries to sound unpredictable by frequently changing style but it is actually very predictable within each chosen style.
