Belgian multi-instrumentalist Stef Heeren, disguised behind the moniker Kiss The Anus Of A Black Cat, pursued his own brand of pagan apocalyptic folk on the sparse acoustic If The Sky Falls, We Shall Catch Larks (K-RAA-K, 2005), containing the 19-minute Sighing Seething Soothing, in the vein of Current 93 and latter-days Swans.

Drums spoiled the atmosphere of An Interlude To The Outermost (K- RAA-K3, 2007), while Nebulous Dreams (Conspiracy, 2008) veered in the opposite direction of abstract spaced-out droning nightmares (the 15-minute Between Skylla and Charybdis).

The phase of pagan folk was winding down, and it expired after Hewers Of Wood And Drawers Of Water (Zeal, 2010).

Weltuntergangsstimmung (Zeal, 2012) introduced drum machines and winked at the fashionable synth-pop revival of the time.
