Georgia's
Sugarland, the trio of singer-songwriters Kristen Hall, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, debuted with
Twice the Speed of Life (2004) in a traditional country vein with
strong pop appeal, influenced by the Indigo Girls. Most of those songs had been written by Hall, who left
the trio. The remaining duo co-wrote everything on
Enjoy the Ride (2006), and surprisingly the sound was exactly the same.
The melodies were a bit more trivial, but little else had changed.
Love On The Inside (2008), containing All I Want to Do, was
just a bit rougher and "lo-fi".
