Larissa "Anitta" Machado (1993),[2] known professionally as Anitta, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, businesswoman and TV presenter who launched a dance-pop career with the singles Meiga e Abusada (2012) and especially Show das Poderosas (2013) when she was only 19. Unfortunately, Anitta (2013), which contains also Nao Para, and Ritmo Perfeito (2014), with Bla Bla Bla, were generic imitations of popular dance-pop styles of the era, and Bang! (2015), possibly her best, largely a collaboration with songwriters and producers Umberto Tavares and Jefferson Junior, only superficially tried more original ideas. The album contains the single Deixa Ele Sofrer, and later she also scored with Paradinha (2017) and Medicina (2018). Kisses (2019) was even worse. Versions of Me (2022), produced by Ryan Tedder in a variety of dance styles from synth-pop to reggaeton, contains the international hit Envolver and the singles Girl from Rio and Boys Don't Cry The album was followed by another hit, La Loto (2022), a collaboration with Argentine singer Martina "Tini" Muziera and US singer Becky G.
