La Colonie de Vacances, an 11-piece ensemble
(six guitars, five vocalists, four drums, four synths and two basses),
was formed in 2010 by members of the French bands Papier Tigre, Electric Electric, Pneu and Marvin,
The four-song EP La Colonie de Vacances (2017) comes with a 100-page book.
The album ECHT (2022)
contains
L'Amour Universel, reminiscent of Glenn Branca's guitar symphonies,
the frenzied punk-jazz of Alex Weir and
the percussive nonsense ZZZ.
