Mark Dwane è un virtuoso della chitarra MIDI, uno strumento
tramite cui vengono prodotti suoni elettronici degni dei Tangerine Dream.
Monuments of Mars e Atlantis Factor sono colonne sonore concettuali, mentre Angels applica le sue innovazioni tecniche al formato più umile e conciso della "canzone", accentuando cadenze e ritornelli. Su Angels Dwane sfrutta le sue tempere tecnologiche per schizzi africani (Virtual Gods), divagazioni psichedeliche (Obelisk) e danze esotiche (Saucers Over Nazca). La title-track è un capolavoro di contrappunto digitale. Atlantis è diviso fra un'altra sporta di melodie facili (a partire da Chalidocean e Song Of The Dolphin) e brani più drammatici (come la title-track). Paradigm Shift (Orbian Trondant, 1995 - DCC, 1995) is another cosmic journey, while The Nefilim (1998) is a humbler effort.
