The American psychologist Morton Reiser offers a psychobiological model of dream processes (how dream images and the associated emotions are generated) which bridges neurobiology and psychoanalysis. Reiser revises Freud's theory of dreams in the light of modern neurobiological data. The book is very useful as a tool for researchers, as it surveys the state of the art in dreaming. But most of the finding's come from Hobson's and Winson's work. |
