Notes (2014)

  • Pictures
  • Belgrade: the bus station is to the left of the train station (when you exit the train station) and it is really easy (same bus station for all buses)
  • 1 euro= 110 dinars (2014)
  • To get to Studenica: Bus to Usce (1100 = 10 euros, 4.5 hours) + hitchhike or taxi the 11kms from Usce to Studenica
  • To go to Gracianica from Studenica: hitchhike back to Usce and take the bus to Microvice (500 dinars) then take the minivan to Gracianica that leaves from the Bishevac restaurant/hotel (20 euros for a single room)
  • Gracianica is actually just 10 minutes from Pristina but it is Serbian Kosovo, just like half of Mitrovice.
  • Cyrillic is disappearing from Serbia (and all but disappeared from Kosovo and Montenegro).
  • The dinar is only used in Serbia. You can pay with euros just about everything in Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo.
