Napa Valley

Napa Valley stretches along highway 29. It is world-famous for wine production, but i personally don't find wine very interesting. Here is what ELSE you can see between Calistoga to Napa (north to south):

  • CADE Estate Winery (best modern architecture): 360 Howell Mountain Rd S, Angwin, CA 94508
  • Bale Grist Mill (historic park south of Calistoga): 3369 Saint Helena Hwy N, Saint Helena (Sat and Sun 10AM to 5PM)
  • Culinary Institute of America at Greystone: Main St, St Helena
  • Opus One winery (modern architecture): 7900 St Helena Hwy, off Highway 29 in Oakville
  • Far Niente Winery (chateau): 1350 Acacia Dr, Oakville
  • Masonry Gallery: 6711 Washington St, Yountville
  • Yountville Sculpture Walk (Jedd Novatt's CHAOS PAMPLONA, stone mushroom forest): Washington St, Yountville
  • Domaine Carneros (French chateau): 240 Duhig Rd, Napa
  • Napa Art Walk (Napa Valley Welcome Center, 600 Main Street)
  • Gordon Huether Studio and Gallery (Giant fork covered with 8,000 forks): 1821 Monticello Rd, Napa
  • DiRosa Center for Contemporary Art: 5200 Sonoma Hwy, Napa
