The Bhundu Boys popularized jit in the Britain with the effervescent Shabini (1986) and Tsvimbodzemoto (1987), sometimes reminiscent of Thomas Mapfumo's chimurenga music. But they soon watered down the concept starting with True Jit (1987), that sounds like a parody of jit, and settled for a compromise on Pamberi (1989).
