Diamond Head, led by Guitarist Brian Tatler and vocalist Sean Harris,
recorded one of the most original albums of British heavy metal,
Lightning to the Nations (1980 - Woolfe, 1981), that wed
Black Sabbath and King Crimson.
Subsequent albums,
Borrowed Time (MCA, 1982) and Canterbury (1983), were far less
original.
They disbanded but reformed to record Death and Progress (1993).
