Philadelphia's
Bloodhound Gang,
fronted by Jimmy Pop Ali (James Franks) and guitarist Lüpüs Thünder,
debuted with the EP Dingleberry Haze (1994) and the album
Use Your Fingers (1995), influenced by the Beastie Boys.
A revised line-up with Evil Jared Hasselhoff (bass), Spanky G (drums) and DJ Q-Ball (turntables) flanking the two founders recorded
One Fierce Beer Coaster (1996), that contained the poppy Fire Water Burn,
and
Hooray for Boobies (2000), that contained their solemn rapping Cramps-ian fantasy The Bad Touch.
Their music (that ran the gamut from hip-hop to punk-rock and from funk to dance-pop) was mainly a pretext to deliver their goofy and vulgar lyrics.
