Acid House Kings, formed by
vocalist Niklas Angergard and guitarist Joakim Odlund,
play harmless and uneventful folk-pop a` la
Belle And Sebastian on
the EP Play Pop (1992) and
Pop Look & Listen (1992).
Advantage Acid House Kings (1997) was the last album recorded with
guitarist Joakim Odlund.
De facto,
Mondays Are Like Tuesdays And Tuesdays Are Like Wednesdays (2002),
and
featuring new vocalist Julia Lannerheim,
Sing Along With Acid House Kings (2005), notably Do What You Wanna Do,
started a new career in a more extroverted style and emphasizing
"twee" boy-girl harmonies.
