Oklahoma's
All American Rejects,
fronted by Tyson Ritter,
offered bland keyboard-driven emo-pop on
The All American Rejects (2002), but hit the jackpot with the
catchy Brit-pop Swing Swing and its echoes of the Hollies.
Move Along (2005) was an even bigger success, thanks to simple
refrains such as Move Along.
Their lame career continued with
the predictable When the World Comes Down (2008), that simply mirrored
the previous bestseller (with Gives You Hell), and the
yawn-inspiring Kits in the Street (2012).
