Loney Dear, the project of Swedish singer-songwriter and arranger Emil Svanangen, self-released a number of poppy albums, including The Year Of River Fontana (2003), Citadel Band (2004), Loney Noir (2005 - Subpop, 2007), and Sologne (2006).

Dear John (Polyvinyl, 2009) is a derivative pop collection that shamelessly exploits every stereotype Svanangen could think of.

Hall Music (2011) is just fluff.
