Blondshell, the project of
Los Angeles' singer-songwriter Sabrina Teitelbaum,
debuted with the somber and solemn Olympus (2022).
The album Blondshell (2023), produced by Yves Rothmann and
ostensibly inspired by
Liz Phair,
harks back to the 1990s. The power-ballad Salad sounds like a "lite"
version of Seattle's grunge,
Joiner evokes the Breeders
and
Sepsis emanates Alanis Morissette vibes.
