Seattle's band Great-Grandpa, fronted by vocalist Alex Manne, debuted with the EP Can Opener (Broken World Media, 2015).
The album Plastic Cough (Double Double Whammy, 2017) was rather uneventful, and hardly cohesive, running the gamut from
the grunge-pop of Teen Challenge to the
country ballad All Things Must Behave/ Eternal Friend via the noisy
garage-rock of Expert Eraser.
Four of Arrow (2019) is mostly devoted to
atmospheric folk-rock (English Garden,
Mono No Aware and especially
Rosalie),
with the notable exception of the country-ish Bloom.
