Austin's Internet Club (the hyper-prolific Robin Burnett) became a staple of the vaporwave
genre with a string of
digital albums released in 2011 and 2012:
New Millenium Concepts (2011),
Webinar (2011),
Beyond The Zone (2011),
Modern Business Collection (2011),
Deluxe (2011),
The Sharper (2011),
Dreams 3D (Ailanthus, 2012), which contains Logon Cafe and Www Cruise,
Underwater Mirage (2012),
Redefining The Workplace (2012),
Vanishing Vision (2012), which is simply a mixtape of Japanese muzak,
Pure Trance (2012),
Final Tears (2012).
The 20-minute "album" Freed From The World (2012), released as New Life Deluxe with all the
titles in Japanese, was his truly interesting work, a mapcap audio collage of super-brief snippets of old Japanese commercials.
That was the beginning of a new career under the moniker DJ Internet Visions
making noise collages.
The moniker Internet Club was resurrected for
Sound Canvas (2019).
