Scottish dj Rustie (Russell Whyte) debuted with the EP Sunburst (2010), one of the recordings that inspired the "future bass" scene, followed by Glass Swords (2011), an album of progressive house music spiced with all sorts of stylistic detours. He pioneered a "wonky" variant of bombastic production and high-pitched vocal samples that was influential on "future bass".

The awful Green Language (2014) contains Lost, Raptor and Attak, which were highly publicized at the time but amount to bland imitations of his debut.

Evenifudontbelieve (2015) contains First Mythz and Peace Upzzz, which are more entertaining but hardly creative.
